One of the most important factors in creating a soft, accurate, and natural-looking eye shape is the shape of the eye itself.

When the eye is anatomically correct, everything else falls into place. Your eyelids lay correctly, your eyelashes perform the way they should, and you experience less shrinkage and less drumming in the front corner.

It’s a butterfly effect. One small detail affects the next, creating a chain reaction that ultimately determines the quality of your finished mount.

So how did we develop the shape of our eyes?

We molded an actual whitetail deer eye.

That’s why our eyes work so well in a mount. Their shape wasn’t a guess. It was developed from the real thing.

Every eye we produce at Champions Choice Supply—our All Brown, White Banded, and future eye designs—shares this same anatomically accurate shape.

Momentum is a funny thing.

I’ll be the first to admit, sometimes the hardest part for me is just getting started. When I have a hundred things that need to be done, it can be easier to look at all of it and accomplish none of it.

It doesn’t have to be a huge day. Sometimes one small accomplishment is enough to get the wheels turning—and once they’re turning, everything gets a little easier.

With fall right around the corner and our busiest time of year coming, I’m reminding myself of that more than ever.

Don’t wait for the motivation. Start moving and let the momentum catch up.
