Fact of the week: Even as we drive from town to town and all points in between, the US is still covered by almost half in trees. Take into consideration the Western parts are largely desert land.

Did you know that trees can "talk" to each other!

Researchers found that certain types of poplars and willows can sense insect attacks to which they will reduce chemicals in their leaves to make them less enticing. Nearby trees of the same varieties can sense the changes and begin to follow suit, thus "talk" to each other, thwarting an infestation and sending the insects somewhere else.

Fact of the Week:

One single mature tree has the ability to produce 6000lbs of oxygen per year supplying enough for two people to breathe. The older a tree gets the faster it grows, the more oxygen it will produce.
