Last night we had to say goodbye to our sweet Roxie. 💔🐾
Many of you knew her as the friendly face at Rustic Thinking Flea Market. She loved coming to work every day, seeing all of her favorite people, getting treats from customers, riding along on adventures, and being included in everything we did.
Roxie spent her whole life loved, spoiled, included, and right by my side every single day. For that, I am so thankful. She wasn’t just a dog — she was family, my best friend, my work partner, and a huge part of Rustic Thinking.
Thank you to everyone who loved her over the years. Every treat, belly rub, kind word, and smile meant more than you know. She truly touched so many people’s hearts.
The shop and our lives are going to feel so empty without her here, but I’m grateful for every single day we had with her.
Run free, sweet girl. 🌈🐾
You were so deeply loved.

People see the auctions… but this is the part most don’t see.
We drove to Belleville, Illinois to pick up two storage units I won. It took two days to clean them out and it rained almost the whole time.
Thankfully the facility was drive-in, so we could load the trailer without standing in the rain the whole time.
Treasure hunting isn’t always glamorous… but it sure is fun.

Happy Birthday to actor Zach Galligan! The Gremlins star turns 62 today!

Friday the 13th turned out lucky for us. First 10x10 unit with the new truck and cargo trailer and it pulled like a dream. Got it all loaded up and celebrated with Mexican food. I think there’s some good treasures in this one. Stay tuned.

We’ve been working hard getting the cargo trailer painted and prepped — and let me tell you, it’s already feeling like home in there. 🛠️✨

📣 Big News for Rustic Thinking!

After a lot of thought (and a whole lot of prayer and planning), I’ve decided to step away from my brick-and-mortar shop and transition Rustic Thinking to a fully mobile and online model starting October 1st.

✨ I’ll still be running my online auctions, and you’ll be able to pick up your items at my cargo trailer — which will be set up at my current shop location for now!

But here's the exciting part…

🏡 A New Beginning in the Building

I’m thrilled to share that Carla Bryant will be taking over the space and launching her own flea market, "Past Perfect", in the same building! Carla brings tons of experience and a true love for vintage treasures, and I know you’re going to love what she has planned.

She’s even starting up her own online auction soon — so the shopping fun doesn’t stop!
