The whole reason I got into photography was because I loved how pictures tell stories. And often, those pictures stir emotion.

I definitely felt this as I finished Seamus‘s session, his baseball jerseys from years and years surrounding him, while his two biggest fans stood by, supporting him in every aspect of life as they have throughout his baseball career.

Years on the sidelines coaching.
Years in the bleachers cheering.

There’s just something about parents who love their kids so much that we can all resonate with. And I found that as I got to these photos, emotionally editing, and just so grateful to get to capture moments like these.

I’m so excited to deliver this gallery today, and just so grateful for families who entrust me with capturing these special milestones.

Truth - I was having a really rough day before Amanda’s session. I wasn’t in the right headspace, I was recovering from being ill, and I was worried this would affect our time together. I wondered on the drive there if I should have rescheduled.

But this girl is such a ray of sunshine and I’m not exaggerating when I say that all the aches and pains and stressors disappeared during our time together! We laughed and danced and it was such a gift to me.

She absolutely ROCKED her session and I’m so thankful I was able to capture her photos for her!! 💛
