This is a hard post to write. If you're currently on my schedule or have worked with me recently, please know your projects and your trust have meant the world to me, ❤️
Right now, I'm fully booked through the end of August. And after that, my family and business will be relocating to South Carolina. 🌄

Public Service Announcement from a Self-Employed Woman:

I think it's time to say this out loud.
When you hire a small business owner, organizer, painter, cleaner, handywoman, or any other self-employed person, we are not your employees.
We don't receive a weekly paycheck from a company.
We don't have paid time off.
We don't have HR departments.
We don't have someone else making sure money shows up in our bank account on Friday.
The work we do for you IS our paycheck.
So when a job is completed and payment is delayed because of a short paycheck, an unexpected bill, or a personal financial issue, what you're really doing is transferring your financial problem onto the person who already did the work.
I can be understanding. I can be compassionate. But I cannot run a business on promises and good intentions.
Small business owners have mortgages, rent, groceries, car payments, insurance, kids, and responsibilities too.
If you hire someone to do a job, please make sure you're prepared to pay for that job when it's completed.

Thoughts of an Organizer....

A lot of people think I just organize closets.
But the truth is… sometimes I’m organizing grief, guilt, heartbreak, overwhelm, memories, marriages, motherhood, anxiety, and the version of someone that people used to be.

Because our stuff?
It hides in the closet right alongside the things we don’t talk about.

The jeans we swear we’ll fit into again.
The box from someone we miss.
The pile we avoid because life got too heavy.
The things we keep not because we need them… but because they’re attached to a moment, a memory, or an emotion.

And honestly, one of the biggest honors of what I do isn’t just helping women declutter their homes.
It’s that they trust me enough to let me witness the emotional weight behind the stuff.

Sometimes people don’t need judgment.
They don’t even need advice.
They just need someone safe enough to stand in the mess with them while they figure out what stays, what goes, and what they’re finally ready to let go of.

That’s the real work behind the organizing.

Happy Mother’s Day to the moms holding it all together with coffee, chaos, calendars, laundry piles, businesses, emotions, dreams, and pure determination.

To the women building a life while raising one…
the moms reinventing themselves while making dinner…
the ones carrying invisible loads nobody else sees…
the multitasking moms who keep showing up even when they’re exhausted — this day is for you.

You are not “just a mom.”
You are the organizer, the problem solver, the comfort person, the worker, the dreamer, the fixer, the safe place, and somehow still the one remembering where everybody’s shoes are.

And even on the days you feel overwhelmed, touched out, underappreciated, or stretched too thin…
please remember this:
the love you pour into your family and your hustle matters more than you know. ❤️
