We would like to take a moment to give our Chief a shout out!!! While on his way home from a work trip he witnessed and multi car MVA.. Chief Parker did not hesitate to answer the call and assist when people needed him. Thank you Chief Parker for you dedication to helping people no matter when where or what the situation maybe. We would like to sincerely thank State Farm for awarding one of the 2026 Good Neighbor Firefighter Safety Program Grants to Dover Volunteer Fire Department, a much needed $10,000 grant for the purchase of Rescue Jacks and airbags for vehicle stabilization during vehicle accidents. Dover was one Department out of 8 that were awarded in the state of Kentucky and one out of 150 nationwide! This will allow us to keep our firefighters and patients safe while working a vehicle accident.
