Holding a B.S. in Engineering Physics and a B.A. in Religious Studies, Perry’s diverse expertise extends into leadership, personal and professional development, and investing. He has established himself as a visionary business owner, NCAA Final Four Team Captain, and a recipient of a Humanitarian Award for his efforts in volunteering and community service.

Perry co-founded NexGen to bridge the knowledge gap in financial literacy and investment opportunities. Reflecting on his journey and the lack of financial guidance available to minorities, he is determined to illuminate the path for young professionals, especially those eager to learn and grow. By embodying the example he wished to see, Perry aims to foster a legacy of growth, opportunity, and empowerment for the next generation.

Never judge a book by its cover. Our next introduction in the series is breaking down barriers in the world of construction and real estate:

Meet Cheyenne Melton, who brings a breadth of expertise with her industry knowledge and experiences in construction and entrepreneurship. She currently runs her own construction company, Melton Construction and Design, which provides residential construction services. Cheyenne has obtained licensing in the State of Illinois as a general contractor, home inspector, and real estate agent.

Given her strong history of achievement in leadership roles and professional settings, she became a co-founder of NexGen to provide investors with knowledge and tools to become educated on construction and real estate. In addition to providing insight into the trades, her goal is to connect those interested to local trade opportunities in the Chicagoland area.
