A Mother Blessing is a beautiful way to celebrate the journey into Motherhood. It’s a sacred ritual where loved ones or community members come together to honor mom and baby. This special moment helps moms feel seen, heard, and grounded as they navigate the ups and downs of this incredible journey.

Hey, just wanted to let y’all know officially, that I changed my name here. Its still me Babywearing Unicorn, but I needed a broader name to cover all my services and to be able to serve the community the best way I can, even if it means letting go of my brand I’ve worked under over 10 years. It’s a bit sentimental, so it’s bittersweet. If you have been following me a while, I hope you stick around! If you are new here, welcome! My mission is creating holistic community and support for mothers in all stages. I’m trying to get better at using social media too, the algorithm seems to be against me here because this account is old, so sometimes I get discouraged. I’m more of an in person kind of girl, but I’m trying. Oh, and I’m still teaching Babywearing so please stick around if you were here for that!

I just wanted to take a moment to reintroduce myself here. Hi, my name is Amber, I am a mother of 4 who lives on a small whimsical homestead in rural PA with my husband Johnny and our children. I try to get outside as much as possible with my kids, I’m also sort of a wooden toy and open ended play nerd. At this point, I have been teaching Babywearing for over 11 years. I trained with the Center for Babywearing Studies, way back when I worked for a natural parenting store in Philadelphia called CLOTH, teaching Babywearing every day! And eventually The Nesting House. Over the years I have worked events as a Babywearing educator, worked for various brands, stores, been a speaker at conferences and expos, done in home consultations, volunteered at women’s shelters, taught various parent classes, cloth diaper classes, breastfeeding support, and a postpartum support group. I sat on the board for nurse family partnership in 2019 and volunteered with Wic. I have founded and volunteered with multiple Babywearing groups as well. I trained with BWI in 2017 also. Right now, I do in home consultations, can contract out for events on the east coast and would like to offer consulting to brands. I run Chester County Babywearing, and volunteer sometimes to help out Delaware Babywearing Connection if I’m able. I also worked as an administrator for head start, worked as a preschool teacher, and in a Waldorf kindergarten. I have training in lactation support (CLC 2018). Oh I also run a playgroup in my area mothers circles and I am training to get my yoga teacher certification. My goal is to create community and provide support to mothers in all stages. I’m not always great at keeping up with social media I do best in person, but I’m here if you need support. ✨
