HJ Vending

Meet our smallest team member! 💙

HJ Vending is a family business in every sense of the word — right down to our name, which comes from our son, Harrison.

He might be a little young for the payroll, but that doesn’t stop him from lending a hand when it’s time to restock the machines!

As our business continues to grow, it’s moments like these that remind us why we started.

Building something for our family, with a little help from the next generation. ❤️

Sometimes growth looks like adding another machine.

One of our busiest locations has continued to grow, and today we added a third vending machine to give the site some much-needed extra capacity.

More capacity means better product availability, fewer stockouts, and a setup that’s easier for us to keep properly serviced — especially at a busy 24/7 location.

It’s always a good problem to have when a location outgrows the original setup. 💚

Growth doesn’t always look glamorous behind the scenes. 😅

New locations, new equipment, more inventory, more routes — and sometimes a warehouse that looks like this while we get everything where it needs to go.

There’s a lot that happens before a vending machine or smart cooler ever arrives at a customer’s site. Equipment has to be prepared, products selected, routes planned and every new location set up around what the people actually using it want.

It’s been a busy few months at HJ Vending, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

If your workplace is looking for reliable vending, smart coolers or office coffee service, we’d love to hear from you.

A lot has been happening behind the scenes at HJ Vending lately!

We’ve added new customer locations, expanded our services, welcomed another member to our growing team, and moved into a larger warehouse to give us the space to keep growing.

It’s been a busy few months, but we’re incredibly proud of how far this little family business has come.

As we grow, the things that matter most to us stay the same — reliable service, well-stocked machines, quick communication, and taking care of our customers.

A huge thank you to our customers, our team, our family, and everyone who continues to recommend and support HJ Vending. We have some exciting things ahead!

Local. Family-run. Growing. ❤️

A pretty big day for HJ Vending! 🎉

Today we officially moved into our new warehouse in West Chester!

What started as a small family business has grown quite a bit — and apparently so has the amount of space we need for machines, drinks, snacks and everything else that comes with running a vending company. 😂

We couldn’t have done today without our family, who gave up their Saturday to help us load, unload, carry, organize and generally keep the chaos under control. We’re incredibly lucky to have them. ❤️

And of course, Harrison was right in the middle of it all. HJ Vending is named after him, so it seems only fair that he earns his keep. 😉 Although judging by the photos, management may have pushed him a little too hard. 😂

There’s still plenty of organizing to do (and possibly a few muscles we won’t be able to move tomorrow), but seeing the HJ Vending sign on the door today felt pretty special.

Another big step for our little family business — and we’re excited for what comes next. ❤️

Wondering if your workplace is large enough for vending?

Employee count matters — but it’s not the only thing we look at. Work schedules, multiple shifts, visitor traffic, nearby food options and how many people are actually on-site can all make a difference.

Our latest blog explains what businesses should consider when deciding whether workplace vending is a good fit.

Starting him young. 💙

When the family business is named after you, apparently you’re expected to pull your weight.

Harrison spent the afternoon helping Dad get ready for the route — carrying cases, loading drinks and generally taking his role at HJ Vending very seriously. 😂

HJ really is a family business, right down to our smallest team member.

Although judging by the case of energy drinks, we may need to have a conversation with HR about appropriate lifting limits. 😉

Don’t worry — his compensation package is extremely competitive. It mostly consists of snacks and Paw Patrol.

Local. Family-owned. And apparently child-staffed.
