Tis easy to be lost in the sorrows of this age. Accumulated restraints, diabolical degradation, distorted conundrums of consciousness, disassociate debacles and a spectrum of disharmonic debilitating dreams will wear at even the mightiest of spirits.

Yet...underneath it all.. there upon awaits the wondrous ways of one's heart. Where home awaits thee always to be sure. Whence source and the force emerge, entrusting ourselves open the wonders of it all. Where love is always love, no matter what appears in form.

So here I ride that breath,
That breath of life,
Of wylder dreams of yor,
Where mead does flow

Yes, that is actually one of the One Rings made for The Lord of the Rings films. 💍🧙‍♂️

This story has come up several times lately, so I figured it was time to share it here.

In early 2020, I traveled to New Zealand for what was supposed to be a two-month retreat while I began creating Inner Realms Journey.

Then the Great Plague swept across the world.

Two months rather unexpectedly became an epic thirteen-month adventure through New Zealand.

It was during that strange and magical chapter of my life that I really began stepping into my own avatar as the Elven Wizard. The outfit in this photo was actually one of my earliest rough-draft versions of the Wizard you see wandering about today.

While there, I visited many of the places connected to The Lord of the Rings, including the workshop of the jeweler who created the One Ring for the films. Multiple versions of the ring were made in different sizes for various cinematic shots, and the wonderful folks there were kind enough to let this wandering Wizard actually hold one.

As I suspected, it held very little power over me. 😉

Though I admit, ’twas quite an honor to take the One Ring for a spin.

One of my great dreams is to someday return to New Zealand with a band of bold and adventurous souls for an epic fantasy, nature, and inner-journey retreat through that extraordinary land.

Who among you would answer that call? ⚔️✨

By popular demand I'm expanding my services to come wizard for thee! Whether thou art preparing for a wedding, handfasting, grand feast, festival, private gathering, or some curious occasion not yet named by mortal tongue... perhaps a Wizard is just what thy gathering requires.
