It’s time for Bikes, Blues, and BBQ! In recognition of this annual motorcycle rally, we are sharing a photograph of Frank Jacobs, who is best known for his service to the citizens of Rogers as a firefighter. Before becoming the first paid Rogers Fire Department firefighter, at the age of 24, Jacobs served as a motorcycle officer in the Rogers Police Department. According to his daughter, he was hit by a truck, badly injured, and gave up the motorcycle for a car.
