Small animal repair in a doorway today.
Added an extra row of tack strip to ensure sufficient staying power .
Power stretched carpet back into position and trimmed off excess.
Applied a light bead of glue between tack and tile to seal carpet edge and prevent fraying.
Trimmed off excess carpet and tucked back into the tile edge .
Repair was a complete success and saved a cat from spending another night in the dog house.

I was happy to be called to put in new tack strip, and then reinstall the pad and re-stretch and trim the carpet again, making the necessary adjustments for the new closet. A pipe break in Ivy's basement wall caused her bedroom to flood. After repairs were made, I used a scrap piece of carpet to put the room back together.
