Project: Visual Brand Identity

When we were first contacted about these two upcoming major projects and learned more about their vision, we couldn’t wait to bring these projects to life. We started with logotypes, isotypes, color palettes, and patterns. Then we progressed to menus, and bottle packaging designs.

Arguably, the biggest challenge of this design project for us was connecting these two brands. The concept of the “M” and the “W” working together was crucial as these two businesses share the same building and overall experience. After many iterations, we were left with two independent brand identities that still manage to complement each other in a perfectly harmonious way.

If you haven’t dined at or tried one of the spirits from the , do yourself a favor and check them out. Projects like these are making Tallahassee a better place. We couldn’t be happier to be a part of it.

The Shot & The Set-Up
Client: Ology Distilling

For this photo, our photographers placed the Solar Flare bottle on top of a clear acrylic sheet, and then placed orange slices strategically around the bottle. Then, utilizing a tethered camera on top of a tripod facing downwards, they lit the bottle from above and beneath.

Then the real fun begins. In photoshop, they cleaned off the acrylic of any incidental smudges and blemishes, and using move tools, added more orange slices to fill in any missing spots. Then, they 'stitched' on the lighting taken from multiple angles, and finally added an overall color grade.
