Our crews are putting in long days to get as much fiber in the ground as possible before winter sets in across East Idaho and Wyoming.

Here's where we're working this month:
📍 Teton Valley, ID – Mainline construction here is done, and we’re now inspection and splicing – fiber will be available very soon. If you haven't already, now is the time to sign up.

📍 LaBarge and Sublette County, WY – We experienced a delay in construction, but we’re still coming your way! Sign up for email updates to get notified as the project progresses.

📍 Star Valley Ranch, WY – Fiber internet available now! For a limited time, we’re offering free fiber installation to your home, plus special savings on upgraded fiber internet.

Once the ground freezes, digging pauses until spring, but we'll keep you in the loop all season long.

Curious when we're headed to your street? Ask us below!

Happy Customer Service Week! 🎉

When you call Silver Star, you're talking to a neighbor, someone who lives in the same communities you do and knows your area.

Meet Kylie, who's been helping customers across West Idaho for 2.5 years. Her favorite part of the job? "Helping out in any way I can."

Has one of our reps gone above and beyond for you? Give them a shout-out in the comments 👇

October is Cybersecurity Awareness Month, so here are 4 quick ways to make your home WiFi safer.

1️⃣ Change your router's default password
2️⃣ Make sure WPA2 or WPA3 security is turned on
3️⃣ Set up a separate guest network for visitors
4️⃣ Keep your router and devices updated

Save this for later, and share it with someone who's still using "admin" as their password 😉

🎉 Big milestone for Teton Valley: mainline fiber construction in Victor, ID is complete!

From April to September, fiber availability across Victor has transformed — and we couldn't have done it without the City of Victor, our amazing residents, and the crews who made it happen.

We're also celebrating by giving back — partnering with B on 33 to plant native wildflowers along the Hwy 33 bike path corridor, restoring areas touched by our construction. 🌼

From parades to pool parties, this month kept us busy connecting with the communities we love. A few highlights:

- Marched in the Kuna Days Parade
- Sponsored free Wi-Fi, water, and charging at the Lincoln County Fair Wyoming
- Met new neighbors at school open houses and meet-the-teacher nights across our service areas
- Talked shop at INTERFACE and Business Builder Day in Boise
- Kicked off football season with some flying t-shirts at the Owyhee vs. Rocky Mountain and Eagle vs. Timberline football games

And behind the scenes, our crews kept building — here's a look at some of our 2026 construction progress. 👷‍♂️🚧
