Austin battery storage startup raised a Billion dollars to set up shop and begin building home energy storage batteries in the old Austin-American Statement building near downtown Austin.

Their goal is to place energy storage in thousands of homes and connect them all to the grid via their planned VPP (virtual power plant) -which could have a number of benefits for both their battery customers and anyone connected to the Texas grid.

-Lot's of good speakers, fully-engaged kids and parents, and even a marching band!

Big Houses need Big Backup Power Solutions.

For electrical service sizes above 200amps , there's a TON to understand about how to back all of that up with battery energy storage. Most of the common solar+backup solutions (Enphase, TESLA, etc) just don't really work very elegantly with larger services (and loads). Many solar firms won't even touch it.

But we will. :)
