Job Description:
Collects and analyses data to identify trends and provide management with valuable information. Main
duties include: identifying, gathering, analyzing and reporting data.
Responsible for the administration of data systems, including data collection, analysis and reporting.
Ability to multitask and manipulate multiple records and systems with accuracy and in a timely fashion.
Must be flexible, organized work and detail-oriented. Must be a good team player in both the office and
with field operations. Must be professional and have proper computer, email and phone etiquette.

Duties:

Use data mining to extract data sets from multiple sources
Organize and transform data information into comprehensible reports
Track and trend data to identify trends

Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence - Act as liaison in maintaining quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries - Head all billing and reporting activities in response to deadlines - Maintain and update collection notes - Assist in the preparation of accounts receivable reports – Develop internal and external customer relationships - Render excellent customer service to both internal and external customers

Position Summary

Proactive ex*****on of the following responsibilities:
Manage customer accounts utilizing policy guidelines and collaborate with leadership, field teams, and customers, as appropriate;
Reduce delinquency of assigned accounts to achieve Accounts Receivable department goals;
Daily monitor and manage customer account delinquencies and communicate with customers to collect on delinquent accounts;
Work with HHS’s internal Dunning Notice System;
Ensure all payments are posted and properly applied;
Develop and maintain internal and external customer relations;
Assist in various audits with third party vendors, including Financial Statement Audit and State Sales Tax Audit;
Participate in projects or process improvements to drive operational excellence and improved performance with measurable results;
Critical review, analysis, communication, and collaboration with others to resolve customer deductions, short-payments and unapplied payments driving delinquency
Contact delinquent account holders to collect payment; and
Other duties and special projects as requested by management, including, assisting with the application of customer payments.
Work with HHS jobsite Directors, Vice Presidents and Presidents in the collection of delinquent invoices and alert the Accounts Receivable Collections Manager of issues. Communicate, as needed, directly with customers to assist in the collection of delinquent invoices.
Requirements

Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor’s preferred)
2+ years working in an Accounts Receivable environment (Collections experience preferred)

Job Summary: Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements.

Reports To: Controller

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting and verifying data.
Analyzes information and options by developing reports; verifying information.
Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
Prepares payments by accruing expenses; assigning account numbers; requesting disbursements; reconciling accounts.
Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
Answers accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Assist in various audits with various external parties (for example: financial statement auditors, state sales tax auditors, and government-based audits).
Provide excellent customer service to a variety of personnel within the company.
Administrator of third-party supply purchasing interface.
Assist with month end close for the division.
Review and ensure accuracy of Union/CBA-based reports and payments.
Partner with HR to understand payroll and other team member requirements.
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelors in Accounting required. 2 -5 years general accounting experience.
Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Advanced excel skills and strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written to properly entertain corporate inquiry relative to financial planning and record-keeping from senior management.
Ability to handle multiple projects at once and meet tight deadlines
Travel: Travel is not required

Hours: Normal work schedule will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday; may be required to work additional hours and/or weekends, as needed, or to meet deadlines

Build Project Scope & Plan - You will be required to help facilitate the gathering of all project requirements, milestones, expected deliverables, etc to ensure all information is documented and summarized for any project stakeholders.
Define Tasks and Required Resources - Identify all resources required for successful completion of the project. This includes a breakdown of tasks, which people will be required to complete the tasks and any outside stakeholders who need to be made aware of the project status.
Create Schedule & Timelines - Each project will require a schedule and timeline to be built and managed through to completion.
