"THE STORY OF MOROCHO.
Morocho, the legendary Dogo Argentino who defeated an adult Puma to save two girls from an attack near his farm.
It was an afternoon in 2008 and the daughters of the owner of a farm decided to go through the countryside to look for fruit, they always looked for it by climbing the trees, when they climbed they saw the puma but it was too late, the huge cat was waiting for them, they were their prey.
Realizing this, they decided to run, but they could not escape from this large and imposing cat.
When they already thought they were lost, their father's Dogo Morocho appeared, who had gone out to take care of them without them noticing; The animal seeing the danger did not hesitate to go to defend them. Morocho was badly injured but managed to beat the puma and save the girls. Today Morocho is recognized worldwide for his exemplary feat and for having shown the love so great that a dog can have for a loved one."

USS Texas sits out of the water for the first time in many decades. This dreadnought era battleship that fired her guns at the German fortifications on D-Day is the last of her kind. She now begins a 2 year multi million dollar yard period that will see her hull almost completely removed and replaced as well as many other repairs.

Ghosts of the Battlefield is a nonprofit educational organization devoted to preserving the history of the American military from 1900 to present. Located in beautiful Virginia Beach the gallery is open to the public. Featuring many displays of artifacts and vehicles, we also offer identification and restoration services of military and antique weapons and equipment.

War stories are gratefully accepted and most cherished.
