This weekend members from St.37 took part in a basic ropes and rigging class. We got to practice our skills setting up different rigging systems to rescue a patient over an embankment. Everyone had such a great time and learned a bunch!

The members at St.37 would like to give a special congratulations to our guy Shane Ponzi!!! He popped the question yesterday on their beach trip. SHE SAID YES!!!! Congratulations to the both of you and we hope that you have an amazing future together!

Yesterday afternoon the members of Station 37 held their monthly training, this month was saw saftey and how to use them. With Larry as the instructor, we dropped a tree and he taught the members how to buck, and delimb it. Great job to all the members that showed up! We had a lot of fun!

Yesterday members of Station 37 participated in the annual Prom Promise at the DuBois High School. The program is designed to make the students aware of the dangers of drinking and driving. Stations 38, 74, and 73 completed the extrication of the patients while we setup a landing zone for LifeFlight.
It was a great opportunity for our younger crew to see what is involved in setting up an LZ. This event was sponsored by Sunny 106.5 and the PLCB. Thank you to both sponsors to help keep this presentation going!
