Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting our STEP Program — and the energy in the room was something special.
Over two days, students from across the region came together to connect with one another, hear directly from members of our team across every service line, and get an inside look at what a career at Nichols Cauley actually looks like.
One of the highlights? Our “speed dating” sessions — where small groups got to hear directly from Nichols Cauley senior leaders on everything from day-in-the-life perspectives to the work we're doing in AI and automation. Fast-paced, real conversations. No polish, no sales pitch — just our people.
And then there's this: our CEO, Alan Whitman, closed out the program on day two — and didn't just present. He stayed. He talked with students, answered their questions, and made time for the kind of conversations you don't often get access to.
Students told us the most meaningful part wasn't a slide deck or a presentation — it was the people they met. That's exactly what this program is designed for. We want you to walk away knowing what being a part of the Nichols Cauley team feels like from day one.
The STEP program (See, Talk, Empower, Progress) is a professional development event for college students designed to provide hands-on exposure to financial services, build leadership skills, and connect attendees with Nichols Cauley’s professionals for networking and career exploration purposes.
