Happy Sunday from Local 25! ☀️

Today, we’re taking a look at Fire Station 3, located at 3155 Central Avenue.

Station 3 was constructed in 1979 and has proudly served the Dubuque community for nearly five decades. Today, it continues to serve as one of Dubuque’s six fire stations, protecting the central and northern areas of the city.

From the crews who have called it home over the years to the countless calls answered from its doors, Station 3 has been an important part of the Dubuque Fire Department and our community for generations. 🚒❤️

Just a little Sunday spotlight on one of DFD’s longtime firehouses. Here’s to a beautiful Sunday and another day of serving Dubuque! ☀️🔥

Today, we honor and remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, while also recognizing the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who answered the call. 🇺🇸🚒

The Dubuque Fire Department invites the community to visit any of its six fire stations today from 8:00–10:00 a.m. for open houses, reflection, conversation, and brief station tours.
