📢 Planned Overnight Power Outage — Thursday Night
Heads up to our customer-owners: we have a planned power outage happening Thursday night, July 23, starting at 11:00 p.m. and lasting until about 5:00 a.m. Friday. The work is being done in The Dalles off W 13th Street.
If you're in the affected area, you would have received a direct notification from us through SmartHub yesterday.
Why overnight? With high heat in the forecast, our crew is doing this work through the night so your power stays on during the hottest hours of the day.
Planning ahead: Please prepare for your power to be out the full window, until 5 a.m. Some areas will come back sooner, but plan for the full time so you're not caught off guard.
A few tips to get ready:
🏠 Pre-cool your home before 11 p.m.
🧊 Keep fridge and freezer doors closed — food stays cold for hours
🔦 Have flashlights and charged phones ready
⚕️ If anyone in your home relies on powered medical equipment, please make a backup plan ahead of time
