Happy Valentine's Day! Our first date was actually on Valentine's Day exactly 10 years ago in 2016. We had our first real meeting at the College of St. Scholastica on Feb. 4. We were both taking a digital media studio class, and we both had reserved overlapping time in the studio for editing a class project. To say we had an instant connection would be a massive understatement. From then on, we connected every chance we could in class and roaming the halls of Tower. It took me (Wyatt) nearly 10 days to ask out Adrianna the day before Valentine's Day, to which she said yes. We had a nice dinner at Pizza Luce before taking a walk around Canal Park and Bayfront in subzero February temperatures, but the bitter cold didn't stop us. Neither of us said it at the time, but we both knew it was the start of something truly special.
Despite us knowing how special this was, neither of us could have dreamed where we would be now 10 years later! Valentine's Day will forever hold a special place in our hearts, though it's never been about the holiday itself for us; it's about celebrating where our love story began :)
