**What Does Dave's Energy Solutions REALLY Do? 🤔**

You might be surprised!

When I first started in solar energy nearly 11 years ago, I thought helping people meant finding them the right solar system.

But I eventually realized something important. **Before you start producing more energy, shouldn't you first look at what you're wasting?**

That one realization changed the direction of my business and how I approach helping people today.

What started with solar has grown into something much bigger!

Today, I work with homeowners, renters, entrepreneurs, businesses, property managers, contractors, churches, nonprofits, and community leaders.

And here's what makes my approach different.

**I don't start with a product. I start with a conversation.**

You'd be surprised how many businesses are losing money in places they never thought to look. Or how many families have no idea there may be programs and resources available to them.

Sometimes it's energy or water efficiency. Sometimes it's technology, business resources, or connecting someone with the right professional.

And sometimes, it's an opportunity that has absolutely nothing to do with energy!

I don't pretend to have all the answers, and I certainly don't need to be the expert in everything. I've spent years building relationships with people and teams who specialize in what they do.

**My job is to help connect the dots.**

I recently sat down with Tinya Hewlett from Connectors Business Network to share a little about my journey, why I do what I do, and the people and organizations I'm looking to connect with.

One thing I made very clear during our conversation:

🔗 WE DON’T PUSH PRODUCTS. WE CONNECT PEOPLE WITH THE RIGHT POSSIBILITIES.

Are you the person people call when they need something because you usually know who to connect them with?

I’m growing a team of individual connectors, relationship builders, and B2B and B2C appointment setters throughout the United States and Canada.

For most opportunities, your role is not to become an expert on every product or give a complicated sales presentation.

The process is much simpler:

The goal is simple, make it easier for people to understand who we serve, what may be available, and where to begin.

The updated website now includes resources and connections for:

🏘️ Property owners, managers, and Maryland housing seekers
🛠️ Contractors, dealers, and service professionals
📊 Real estate professionals and business owners

🪙 Precious metals and everyday products
🤝 Education, professional growth, and referral opportunities

Internet, mobile, and additional financial services are also being developed and are marked as coming soon.

Dave Brown operates independently as a Connector, Advisor, and Resource. Products, installations, professional evaluations, financing, enrollment, and specialized services are generally provided by independent companies and qualified professionals.

Not every option is available in every area, but many opportunities may be available throughout the United States and Canada. Room, apartment, rental, and potential-homebuyer connections are currently limited to Maryland.

High demand charges can add serious costs after only a few short spikes. One outage can stop equipment, interrupt sales, delay production or spoil refrigerated inventory.

Meanwhile, purchasing commercial battery storage requires capital that most businesses need elsewhere.

For qualifying commercial properties in ComEd territory, approximately two unused parking spaces may be able to generate monthly revenue instead.

Through this commercial battery-hosting program, the capital partner provides and manages the equipment, engineering, installation, insurance, utility coordination, operation and maintenance.

The property hosts the battery system at no cost and receives monthly hosting payments under a 10-year agreement. This is not an equipment purchase or lease.

Minimum requirements:

• 200,000+ kWh in annual electricity use
• 80+ kW peak demand
• At least two parking spaces
• Location within ComEd territory

Companies may choose:

• An income-focused configuration that maximizes hosting payments
• A resilience configuration combining a lower payment with emergency backup for selected critical loads

Dave’s Energy Solutions serves as an independent connector and resource, helping commercial property owners determine whether their facility may qualify.

A preliminary review begins with a recent commercial electric bill and the expiration date of the current electricity contract.

What if your business has already earned valuable tax credits... and nobody ever claimed them?

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is:

"We don't do research and development."

⚡ Does your business or home show any of these signs?

▪️ Flickering LED lights
▪️ Breakers tripping without an obvious overload
▪️ Buzzing or excessive humming
▪️ Motors, transformers, or electrical panels running unusually hot
▪️ Motors vibrating or operating inconsistently
▪️ Computers or electronic controls freezing or restarting
▪️ Electrical equipment failing sooner than expected

These may be warning signs of harmonic distortion or another power-quality problem.

However, symptoms alone cannot identify the cause. Loose connections, overloaded circuits, voltage imbalance, aging equipment, and other electrical issues can produce similar problems.

A high electric bill by itself is not proof of harmonic distortion. Proper power-quality testing is needed to collect the data and understand what may be happening.
