PULL THAT CORK GIVEAWAY! To begin, our General Manager, Jillian popped a 2018 Sigrid Chardonnay magnum. “I am always excited to pull the cork on a magnum of Chardonnay before guests arrive for Sunday Supper at this time of year. Summer sun is giving way to amazing fresh produce; so much fodder for colorful salads and classic pizza nights. I love a perfect, olive oil-drizzled pile of basil and gorgeous juicy tomatoes with chunks of mozzarella cheese on the thinnest, crispiest crust... The 2018 Sigrid magnum won’t last long on a hot Sunday evening, but it will be memorable for years to come.”

The season of abundance is here, and along with it - every chance to savor the sunshine with gratitude for our lush bounty of flowers, herbs, tomatoes, and of course. .. those colorful clusters of grapes so lovingly tended by our vineyard crew all year. We await harvest for a brief while longer. Until then, we're buzzing like bees 🐝 getting ready for the big days ahead. If you're out in the Willamette Valley, give us a call to schedule a visit.

On Friday, April 17th, we lost the man at the heart of Bergström Wines.

Dr. John Ove Bergström lived 90 years with courage, generosity, and an unwavering belief in possibility. As an immigrant, physician, father, and founder, he touched and inspired generations—through healing hands, thoughtful mentorship, and a deep love for this land and the life it offers.

“If you don’t swing for the fences, how will you ever hit a home run?”

His spirit lives on in our vineyards, in our family, and in the values that guide our work every day.

Rest in power, Papy, Farfar, Dad.
