My mom was always so proud of her crystal chandelier. It was an expensive purchase for her. I believe she told me she paid $1500 and that was 30+years ago. When my mom retired and moved from her residence of 30yrs, she took the chandelier to two more residences and had it hung to continue enjoying.Then, when she moved to my home, I took it and that was 10years ago.
I disassembled and stored all the parts and individual crystals with the dreams of creating my own modernized chandelier using the crystals. So, the time has come and I am beginning the design of that chandelier and will get instruction of how to assemble from someone who knows how to do this professionally.
Here are the crystals I have to work with. I've also included a picture of an inspiration piece. I will keep you informed of the progress on my own chandelier in the coming weeks.

Started an organization project today. It's difficult when you downsize and lose a garage and closet space. The spare bedroom becomes the "catch-all".

My friend, Ron referred me to a family that has hired me to do a full house clean out and estate sale. I have been working for several days with the help of my sister in law, Meghan. This family has lived in the home for 55 years and raised their 4 children here. There is a great amount of household items, tools, collections, and even some awesome antique furniture. Tomorrow, I am opening the home to (strictly) sell all of the Christmas- in time for you to use for your Christmas decorating. There is many vintage decorations, as well as other really nice decor. Come see me between 12-4 tomorrow just for the Christmas sale. Next weekend will be the official Estate Sale.

Day 2 Tomorrow of a great big sale! Today we sold a great amount of stuff- but like most sales we still have a great deal of furniture. Prices have been reduced- come by and see if the owner will take your offer.
Pottery Barn; slipcover loveseat ($300), sofa (500), sleeper sofa ($600). 2 Faux Fireplace - one has a heat thermostat ($150, $200), antique iron bed ($195), Ethan Allen Tango Cabinet ($450). 3 nice, upholstered chairs, poster bed w/canopy ($400). Very, Very Heavy Wrought Iron Bench ($300). That's all I can price tonight. Just come by and check it out!!
