Maple Hill Manor – Springfield, KY 👻
👻👻news update down below 👻👻
Ghost Investagation coming soon !
A home built in 1850 for a young bride by Thomas Irvine McElroy. The home was slave built, The total number of slaves isn't documented , However the work they did with the local clay is.
Its a greek revival home on 949 acres, with large rooms and floating staircases.
This house I'm sure made the saying " if walls could talk" .
The manor has served as an Antebellum Plantation.
Was used as a Civil War Confederate Encampment And Union Field Hospital after the Battle of Perryville and then a Foster Children’s Home to over 300 children.
The manor is now a lovely little Air bnb for things like weddings, dinner shows and quiet vacations.
It also attracts other attention .
Ghost Investigators.
The home being one of the most haunted homes in Kentucky , Featured on websites, books and Tv shows.
Things being heard like Footsteps from empty rooms,
Cold spots and shifting temperatures,
Knocks on doors with no one there.
Shadows- A Woman’s Presence , Residual Civil War Energy and my favorite
Intelligent Interactions
Besides the passed soldiers who died on the grounds leaving behind a blood stained floor with bullets pulled from the bodies in the floor-board and burned rooms .
There is reports of 4 children passing from the original owners, one falling from the railing of the sprial staircase.
So heres the exciting part.
Spooky Bees will be doing an investigation there!
