I can’t believe you would have celebrated your 90th birthday today. I am so grateful to call you my dad. I feel the lord called you home too soon back in 1998 on March 13, but I take comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain and are rejoicing with the lord. When you are a kid in school the teacher will ask you who your favorite hero is and back then I would have probably would have said HE-MAN. Now I am older and a lot wiser let me take this time to introduce you to my real hero. He may not be living with us anymore but he is and will always be my true hero. He is my father some may know him as Roland D Dibble. Some may know him as Sergeant 1st class Dibble who honorably served 26 years in the US Army. One tour in Korea 3 tours in Vietnam which I found out later he did more time there than that. Also help build the stealth bomber at McDill Air Force base in Tampa. He was an army sniper in the 82nd airborne, third infantry, 74th infantry, just to name a few. He was awarded the bronze star for his valor in Vietnam. If you knew this man I would love to talks to you please reach out to me.

As a hunter, if you didn't venture out tonight, you missed an extraordinary experience. Rather than boasting about a successful harvest, I'm grateful for a valuable lesson. Despite predictions of peak movement, my time in the woods reminded me that the ultimate gift comes from a higher power. And tonight, that gift was witnessing the breathtaking Beaver Moon rise above the treetops, a moment of awe that surpassed any hunting triumph.
