AlignTec Incorporated Providing quality, high-speed wireless internet service throughout La Plata and Montezuma Counties. Wireless Broadband Internet Service was now a reality.

AlignTec is a locally owned and operated company based in beautiful Durango, Colorado. Originally started in Durango as Aligned Technologies in 1996, AlignTec has provided IT and technical services to area businesses and homes over the years, creating many, long-lasting relationships that remain to this day. We began our first wireless internet broadcast in 2004, northwest of town in Hidden Valley

. Born out of necessity, this first network proved to be a challenge as there was not a lot of choice in quality commercial wireless equipment at the time. As the years passed, however, equipment quality and availability improved, and the number of customers grew. In 2013 we teamed up with Pagosa Springs based Skywerx Industries and brought the breadth and power of their network into our service offerings. This expanded our coverage overnight from a few select areas around the county, to almost the entire county of La Plata…and we’re still growing. We are proud of the products we offer and the personable customer service we are known for. Services have been affected by a network issue/outage between the hours of 8:20 pm 06/26 & 1:00 am 06/27. The Issue was rooted outside of AlignTec's network and we apologize for the inconvenience.
Our upstream provider FastTrack has reported a situation where there was 2 fiber cuts 1 between Denver and Albuquerque and 1 between Nucla and Montrose. A repair to the fiber cable between Nucla and Montrose has been completed by Tri-State (restoring services) and the fiber repair between Denver and Albuquerque as still ongoing.
If internet access is not restored at your location, please disconnect all inside equipment from power, confirm Ethernet cables are seated correctly & secure, wait 1 min. then reconnect power to all inside equipment. Wait another 2 min. for equipment to boot-up, and then check for internet access from one of your devices. If you still do not have internet access, please call the AlignTec office number (970.375.2771) and choose #3 from the phone tree to speak with Technical Support.
