One of the Red Feather pieces i dug last week with the crew. They were all in one pit and i decided to move some snow and frozen dirt. Got through the permafrost and found this beauty. It might possibly be one of my favorite "milky" Quartz I've ever found. -

Ive been messing with lighting angles, intensities and camera settings. Along with lots of frustratio! I finally figured out the formula to take good photos with my phone :-).

One of the best fluorites we found last year was this beauty! Purple with green and black corners. Only in Erongo have I seen similar stuff (obviously lake George too :-)). This piece has a funny story.
Found it, wrapped it, put it in the back and on the hike back or as I was leaving it fell out of my pack. Told Brandon i lost it and we were sad. He went back out with Kyle a week or so later and Kyle found the dang fluorite in the woods unwrapped on the ground! How it got unwrapped idk? Maybe a bear found the TP and thought it was food but it was just a crummy fluorite. Who knows lol. But Kyle being a good guy gave brandon the fluorite and he ended up giving it back to me. This piece is obviously nfs because the story is to good behind it!
