⚡️The Power of Customer Feedback⚡️

We've all come across the phrase 'the customer is always right.' While I wouldn't take that saying too literally, in business, your customers' feedback becomes the secret sauce for growth. Consider each review, suggestion, or critique as a guide towards progress.

Your customers' feedback is the key to unlocking new possibilities. It's not simply about applying all feedback; there are still rules and guidelines your business should follow. It's about taking the feedback that fosters growth and learning how to seamlessly integrate it into their experience. That’s where I come in! ⚡️ Let’s work together – I can help set up a feedback system and guide you in its effective application.

Take a moment to listen, engage, and evolve. Your customers aren’t just consumers; they’re collaborators in our success story.

Ready to enhance your feedback game? Drop me an email at [email protected] and let’s turn feedback into growth!

Plan Out Your Year⚡️

Be sure and check out my last 3 posts before jumping into this one!!

We have our goals now, so how do we plan out our year with those? Planning out your year can be really helpful to get a visual for what your months and days will look like. I want this to be simple, so let’s just jump into it!

⚡️Set Clear Goals: DONE✌🏼

⚡️Plan Tasks: Break down your goals into smaller tasks. These are the things you need to do to reach your big goals. For example, if your goal is to increase sales, tasks could include improving your website, running promotions, or finding new customers.

⚡️Make a Schedule: Create a timeline for when you'll complete each task. This helps you stay organized and on track. Consider factors like busy seasons or industry events when planning.

⚡️Manage Finances: Figure out how much money you'll need for your plans. Create a budget that includes things like marketing, hiring, and any other expenses. Keep an eye on your spending throughout the year.

⚡️Measure Success: Decide how you'll know if you're doing well. This could be by tracking sales, website visits, or customer satisfaction. These are your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

⚡️Promote Your Business: Plan how you'll tell people about your business. Use social media, emails, or ads to reach your audience. Make sure your marketing fits with your overall plan.

⚡️Train Your Team: If you have employees, help them learn and grow. This makes your business stronger. Regularly check in on their progress.

⚡️Be Ready for Challenges: Think about what could go wrong and have a backup plan. Stay flexible and adapt to changes in your industry or market.

⚡️Regularly Check Your Plan: Set aside time to review how things are going. See what's working and what needs adjusting. Being able to change your plan is important for success.

We’re almost ready 2024!! I’d love to know a bit about your plan in the comments.

GOAL SETTING⚡️
Depending on your personality, this could be a no-brainer or the toughest part of our journey. It's crucial and can truly set your business apart if you stay the course!

Let’s dive into setting a goal for 2024 using the SMART method! After reflecting on the last two days and gaining clarity on what you're taking into 2024, what you're leaving behind, and how you want the year to feel, let’s ensure our goals align!

What exactly is this method? Here’s the breakdown:
S - Specific: Define clear, precise goals. Instead of a broad aim like 'increase sales,' specify it as 'achieve a 20% increase in monthly sales by the end of 2024.' Clarity is key.

M - Measurable: Establish quantifiable metrics. Set metrics that allow you to track progress. If it's a sales goal, track the percentage increase. This way, you'll know exactly when you've hit the mark.

A - Achievable: Set challenging yet realistic objectives. Assess your resources, capabilities, and constraints. An achievable goal motivates without overwhelming you or your team.

R - Relevant: Align goals with broader business objectives. Ask yourself how achieving this goal contributes to your overall vision for the business. Relevance keeps your efforts focused and impactful.

T - Time-Bound: Set a deadline for your goal. A timeframe creates a sense of urgency and helps prioritize tasks. For example, 'Achieve a 20% increase in monthly sales by the end of December 2024.'

If you need a starting point for goal setting, here are some examples of SMART goals:
⚡️Revenue Growth:
- Increase total revenue by 15%.
- Measure monthly sales for steady growth.
- Align with business expansion goals.
- Achieve by the end of the fiscal year.

⚡️Customer Retention:
- Improve retention by 20%.
- Monitor retention rates monthly.
- Implement a customer loyalty program.
- Achieve the increase within 12 months.

⚡️Online Presence Enhancement:
- Increase website traffic by 25%.
- Monitor visits using analytics.
- Invest in SEO, content marketing, and social media.
- Achieve the increase by year-end.

⚡️Operational Efficiency:
- Reduce operational costs by 10%.
- Monitor monthly expenses and streamline processes.
- Align with the goal of improving profitability.
- Achieve the reduction within the fiscal year.

⚡️Employee Development:
- Provide training on a new skill or software.
- Track completion of training sessions.
- Allocate resources for workshops.
- Complete training within six months.

⚡️Social Media Engagement:
- Increase engagement by 30%.
- Monitor likes, shares, and comments.
- Create engaging content and run targeted campaigns.
- Achieve the increase by year-end.

Share your business goals below when you have them set!

12/13/2023

Continuing on with setting your business up well for 2024, we’re going to look at what we want the new year to feel like for both you, your team and your customers.

This could fall in line with setting a goal for the year, but this to me is more like a “word of the year”, but for your business!
Example, I want to make 2024 feel as peaceful as possible in all I’m working on. I want my work and life to flow well, I don’t want to take on what I know I can’t do. I want to have a peace about all I step forward in.

Here are some ways to help you come up with this feeling for 2024.
⚡️Take a step back and think about how you have felt the past few years or in the seasons of life you’ve been in. Was it stressful? Easy? Growing? Maybe you can’t even remember.
⚡️Write down that feeling and think about WHY it felt like that.
⚡️Think about your Why in running your business. What is it? Do you have it written down? If not, do it.
⚡️Going forward, knowing what you want to take into 2024 with you, based on our work from yesterday’s post, intentionally think about how you want 2024 to feel. Does your feeling match what you’re taking and leaving? Maybe you have a goal in mind for the year, does it match that?
⚡️Write down the new feeling and envision it.

Here are a few action steps I’m taking for my peaceful 2024.
⚡️Keeping my daily tasks align with the peaceful feeling I want.
⚡️Establishing boundaries to maintain a balanced work-life dynamic. Avoid overcommitting and be selective about projects to preserve a sense of peace.
⚡️Prioritizing rest and wellbeing with mindfulness and self-care. My personal wellness is far more important than my work.
⚡️Implement time management strategies to reduce stress. Creating a daily rhythm prioritizing tasks, setting realistic deadlines, and avoiding procrastination for a smooth workflow.
⚡️Creating my workspace with natural lighting and colors that make me happy.

I hope your 2024 is defined by your intentions and energy you bring into your business.

⚡️How to set your business up for success in 2024 - Taking the good and leaving the bad.

As mentioned last Friday, this week is all about preparing for the new year! While it might seem time-consuming and tedious, it's important for sustainable growth. Skipping this step is not an option if we want our businesses to thrive year over year.

First, let's reflect on 2023, considering our wins and losses. It's essential to embrace the lessons learned, celebrate victories, and ditch the strategies that hindered progress.

Ask yourself these questions about you and your business:
⚡️What was your biggest win, and why?
⚡️What are your personal strengths as a business owner?
⚡️Where did you find the most enjoyment or what aspect did you love the most?
⚡️What didn't work, and why?
⚡️What obstacles are you facing now?
⚡️What skills do you need to develop as a business owner?

Now, consider these aspects about your business and its relationship with the community:
⚡️How well did you connect with the community? What worked, and how can you improve?
⚡️What efforts did you make to foster customer loyalty, and did they work? Did you gather feedback from your customers?
⚡️How can you enhance your customer relations?
⚡️Assess the local market and competitors. Have there been new developments? What sets you apart?
⚡️How well did you adapt to local trends? Is there anything you missed or can improve on in 2024?
⚡️Did you establish local partnerships, and how can you leverage them in 2024?
⚡️Evaluate the effectiveness of your marketing strategies in reaching your target audience. How can you improve?

Remember, adaptability is key for a business owner! Let's step into 2024 with wisdom and a clear vision. After working through these questions, share your insights with me!
