Yesterday, our Executive Director, Erica Vazquez moderated the Bridging the Gap: The Missing Pieces to Accessing Capital, an event coordinated by Dr. Vania Ramos Ponce, CPA, MBA and Paula Pingel, MS, MBA from Right to Start as part of Raleigh-Durham Startup Week. The panelist, Adrian Gonzalez, Roberta McCullough, Monica Molina and Ben Redding shared what it means to be credit ready, the gaps they see when start-ups seek capital, alternatives when capital is not accessible through your traditional bank, tips to consider when applying for grants along with many other nuggets. You had to be in the room.

We also shared a $10,000 grant opportunity through Verizon.
