I'm a technical entrepreneur seeking administrative support for my social impact eCommerce studio, lab, and fund. Most of your efforts will be directed towards businesses efforts but there will be some personal tasks as well.
I expect the candidate to learn enough within the first 6 months that they take a new role in one of my companies; and hire your replacement.
Required Qualifications:
Local to Raleigh-Durham.
Attention to detail. (I know, cliche)
Have an opinion on the Oxford comma.
The spelling and grammatical errors in this post are driving you nuts.
Careful handling of confidential information.
Comfortable in a start-up environment; without much structure.
You're comfortable talking to technologists, designers, vendors, and clients.
Not afraid to manage up.
Geekiness.
Dog friendly (he comes to the office).
Responsibilities:
Time tracking.
Contact management.
File (Google Drive) organization.
Document scanning.
Email drafting.
Transcription of voice memos, message responses, etc.
Taking meeting notes.
Creating reports
Light project management (ClickUP)
Preferred Qualifications:
Know something about eCommerce.
Experience using Shopify, Magento, and WordPress.
Experience with marketplaces like Amazon, eBay or Etsy.
Know what Agile, Scrum, and Kanban are.
You know how to use a VLOOKUP.
Creative. Can at least edit an image if not intimidated by the Adobe suite.
Russian speakers a plus! (A lot of our team is in Eastern Europe)
