Our Visionary Founder, Dr. , spent the past two days at the Training Partners Retreat sharing about our training program, intentional programs for cultivating the next generations of moral leaders, and our new Black church initiative.

Together, we shared, prayed, strategized, encouraged each other, and offered recommendations to multiply our impact.

We are thankful that our Network includes so many organizations that are serving the common good. View Our Network page at www.leadershiplinksinc.org

Sharing space and having an honest conversation on "Leading through Grief" with author and certified Grief Educator, Natasha Smith, at last weekend's Summit was not only good for me, but it was healing for every women who was ready and vulnerable enough to bring their full selves and trust that other grieving women would hold space for them there, and we did.

While grief care is not my primary work, I write, speak, and create space for leaders to understand grief as a part of their life and leadership journey. I do this work because grief has always been a part of my life and leadership journey.

I lost the first love of my life (my maternal grandfather) when I was 18 years old, and grief has been very presence and near to me ever since. I have been formed deeply by grief, and I'm honor whenever any leader entrusts me to be a companion on their grief journey.

Natasha and I are preparing for our next B.L.A.C.K. Women "Leading through Grief" Retreat (Dates: August 30-September 1, 2026) in Stoneville, NC.

Register to join us before the July 15, 2026 deadline.
