Thanks to Dushore Fire-Rescue for all you do for our community!

Monday of EMS week and Unity Labs representatives Nicole Lutz, Serena Hatton, and Michael Rogan stopped in at Station 57. The group presented the day shift EMTs Mariah Fowler and Kristina Durland a generous donation to the new ambulance fund raising project.

Unity Labs is a local manufacturer of commercial cleaning equipment. The own the Unity Laundry, Unity Clean and Unity Press product brands. They currently produce steam generators, presses and boilers at their location just north of Dushore.

The What’s So Cool About Manufacturing is an annual video contest for students across Pennsylvania to explore cool manufacturing careers and produce profiles of companies.

Towanda Area School District 8th grade student members of the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” team traveled south on route 220 to tour UnityLab in Dushore, PA. They met with CEO Jonathan Benjamin, Production Manager Mike Rogan and Supply Chain Manager Nicole Lutz prior to touring the facility and interviewing employees. UnityLab is the manufacturer of high-end Hoffman laundry presses, washers, and boiler systems which are built from scratch and shipped all over the world from their facility in Dushore.

This team of students includes Ava Anderson, Allison Chilson, Aiden Davidson, Jackson Frederick, Jaydon Stranger and Evan Young, who produced the 2 to 2 ½ minute video for submission to the contest.

2022 has been an amazing year of growth and fun at UnityLab!

We welcomed over 35 new team members, have over 20,000 customers worldwide, and are operating three brands (Unity Laundry, Hoffman, New Yorker) at our Dushore Pennsylvania facility that holds both ASME and ETL certifications for the highest quality manufacturing.

We are also proud to be true to our corporate ethos of caring and being part of the community by conducting local job fairs, inspiring the next generation to be excited about manufacturing, and participating in several local town celebrations.

And our team had lots of fun!

2023 will bring many exciting changes including launching new brands and products and continuing on our path to making manufacturing thrive in rural communities.

Towanda High School chose UnityLab as their partner in the “What’s So Cool About Manufacturing” contest. We hosted them for a visit yesterday so they could take videos of the facility and interview some of the employees. When we started the day, none of the students in the group (8th graders) wanted to work in manufacturing, but after a few hours they were talking about jobs they want to come back here and do someday.
