This was not your typical declutter and organize job!

This is one of four rooms we tackled in one session.

The customer purchased the home about five years ago.

There were items left behind from the previous home owner.

There were items left behind from a previous relationship.

There were items left from when the child was a newborn/toddler…… who is now 7.

There were items from when the homeowner was growing up, in high school, and in college.

Each and every last thing was separated, sorted, re-homed.

The homeowner can now enjoy their space and breathe easy again in knowing that they don’t have to face this mess every time they use their basement!

Never a dull moment in this business!

I was out doing a quote for a family in Monee, Illinois. Everything was going great!

We were discussing goals for the garage….

When suddenly, *gasps* the mother is shocked to find out that her young son locked the door leading from the garage to the house (the only door having access to the house at that time) AND there are chicken nuggets in the oven cooking…. So we’re all freaking out!

If you know me, I immediately run to my truck to find an old credit card to try to break in🙄

The woman doesn’t have her phone because it’s locked in the house

The son is feeling so sad because it was an accident

Everyone’s stressed the f out

She’s calling her ex and her son’s grandmother to try to get a spare key over there to open the house up

Then we decided to call the fire department

I’m trying to watch a YouTube video to learn how to get this door unlocked (in my defense, this door had ZERO GIVE, I’ve never seen a door not be break-in-able😂)

Fire department came in less than 5 minutes

They broke in through a high up kitchen window using a fun sized fire fighter

All is well

Life is good

Oh and I’m starting tomorrow morning!😂

My daughter sure knows how to pick them! Retro Jordans in University Blue at a garage sale for $45. She scoped them out. Walked right up to the lady and offered her $20. No shame in her game😂 Worth $360 in used condition on eBay.

As a result of mental health issues, physical limitations, and chronic clutter, an older couple has been unable to engage in basic activities such as cooking or sleeping in a bed for over three years. My best friend contacted me this morning regarding a referral from his customers who require assistance in their home. The customer, K, called me shortly after.
