I recently heard a business owner bragging about all the projects they completed in the last year. I asked myself "So, What?" How did the completion of the rocks impact the organization's teams, clients, or stakeholders. Who cares about completed rocks unless we can demonstrate tangible results.

We can look to the Lagging Indicators to determine how change at the frontline impacted the organization.
