One thing that gets looked over in preparedness for everyday life, is the importance of physical fitness. We have grown accustomed to comfort and convenience. It's easier to get off work, go home and crack a beer. The benefits of physical fitness are far beyond the superficial level. they affect your mood, help increase energy levels, and help boost your self-esteem.
Socrates said it best, "No citizen has a right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training... what a disgrace it is for a man to grow old without ever seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable."
This doesn't mean you need to be the next Mr. Olympia or a marathon runner. It means you take pride in yourself and understand that discipline consistency and perseverance lead to success. Start small and make attainable goals. something as simple as jogging for 20 minutes 3x a week is attainable.
The hardest part is starting! take the first step to seeing what you are truly capable of!
