A little different than my usual business posts…
First, I have to say something about this picture.
I normally do not use AI images for my business.
I want my business to be real, personal and authentic.
However this particular picture kept popping into my head because it captured something I have a hard time putting into one photograph—the many different hats a household manager can wear.
And honestly… I didn't know how else to get the picture I had in my head. 😂
Because household management isn't just cleaning!
Sometimes it's organizing the chaos.
Sometimes it's tackling the project that's been sitting on your list for six months.
Sometimes it's laundry, errands, shopping, a little yard work, putting something together, helping with a move… and sometimes it's simply having another person come alongside you when life feels like a LOT.
That's the beauty of what I do!!
There really isn't one box that household management fits into. Every home, every family and every season can look completely different.
And that's what I love about it.
I get to meet people where they are—without judgment—and offer a helping hand, a little encouragement, and a heart that genuinely cares about what matters to them in that particular season of life.
That's the beauty of this calling for me. No two homes, families or seasons are exactly alike—and I wouldn't want them to be.
And that also brings me to something I feel pretty strongly about:
Please be careful about who you allow into your home.
When you invite someone into your home, you're not just giving them access to your things.
You're allowing them into your personal space—sometimes when you're overwhelmed, vulnerable, busy, away from home, or trusting them with things that are very personal!
Do your due diligence.
Ask questions.
Check references.
Look into their business.
Ask whether they're properly registered and insured, and whether the services they're offering require any additional registration or licensing.
This isn't about being suspicious of everyone.
It's about being intentional and selective about who you invite into your home.
Your home is personal. Your belongings are personal. Your safety, trust and peace of mind are worth taking seriously.
And that's something I hope to provide my own clients from day one—not just help with the home, but trust, respect, discretion, no judgment and a genuine heart to help.
