Looking at Donald Trump's chart and looking for charts of those born about the same time, I ran across the chart of Timothy Christopher Ware Getty who was born the same day and year as Trump at 9:00 am in Los Angeles, CA. I was very excited as I was hoping to compare the charts of the two men but tragically Timothy died Aug. 17 1958. He was diagnosed with a tumor on his optic nerve around his 6th birthday in 1952 and had several surgeries before his death. He was the 5th son of J. Paul Getty the first billionaire and Theodora Lynch Getty so he was also born into wealth but of a greater and more distinguished father than Trump.
The charts are similar with the Leo rising and Sun/Moon opposition. They are both diurnal with Jupiter the greater benefic and Saturn the lesser malefic. Since I use Whole Sign Houses the planets are in the same Houses in both. I thought about comparing them using Placidus but I would have gotten far out in the weeds I think.
I have been reading Dorian Greenbaums book , Temperament Astrology’s Forgotten Key and have found it to be fundamental in delineation. For both charts, the temperament is Choleric/Sanguine so we have choleric traits of will, optimism, aggression, take charge and lack of attention to detail combined with sanguine of friendly, social, shallow, unfocussed, cheerful, dilettante, and lucky. So a person with great leadership skills who can sell ideas because of the desire to build relationships, who is easily distracted and looks to luck more than skill to reach objectives.
Both have Sun/Uranus conjunct in Gemini lively, unique, eccentric, erratic thinking and expression in 11th the House of the Good Daimon and trine Jupiter in Libra in the 3rd House. So there is a wealth of benefic support. However the dispositor is Mercury is in the 12th, copresent with Saturn in fall so we get the idea the father is challenging, maybe damaging with the Sun opposing Moon in Sagittarius in 5th, which is play, fun, creativity, romance, art and drama (Trump loves to be the center of drama.) The Moon trines the Ascendant so both are sensitive and intuitive and others respond emotionally to them as the emotions are a large part of the personality.
Also Mars is near the Ascendant in both so there is a feeling of more and more heat, more fire, an outgoing energy coupled with Leonine grandiosity.
The Sun is in trine to Jupiter in both. So while the Sun opposing Moon may cause stress and pain, Jupiter brings ease, generosity, and popularity. Trump’s father is known to have instilled a sense of winning no matter the cost and Timothy’s father was absent most of the time and did not even attend the child’s funeral.
The Moon rules the 12th with Mercury, Saturn and Venus. So there is a degree of unawareness of how to navigate certain aspects of life so it is easy to default to Mars.
The difference between the charts are the Asc/Desc and MC/IC points. Timothy has 17 Leo rising partile sextile Jupiter and Mars is 9 degrees from the Ascendant so there is not so much of a fighting nature of desire, impulsiveness, action, courage and aggression but the addition of the Jupiter traits of reflection, higher thoughts, communication, dignity, social status, and beliefs from the 3rd House. The Term and Face rulers of Trumps Ascendant are Mars while the Term ruler of Timothy’s Ascendant is Jupiter and the Face is Saturn.
And most of all, Timothy has Mars in the nocturnal sect while Trump has Mars diurnal, out of sect, adding extreme heat and dryness to the persona. So while Mars is out of sect in Trump’s chart and we get the belligerence and chest thumping, Timothy with Mars in sect would be able to manage the impulses of Mars more deftly and has a cooler head, so to speak.
Pluto in Timothy’s chart is partile square the MC/IC axis. The birth time may be rounded off as it is 9:00 am but even if it was not partile it would still indicate something malefic, and coupled with Pluto and Mars enclosing the Ascendant, further indicates stress on this area, which among other things indicates health.
I have just scratched the surface of the two charts but I thought I would post it in case others were as interested in comparing them.
