The Horoscope of Ukraine
Ukraine, in it's war against Russia represents a critical stage in the evolution of democracy in modern times. Born when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 it has risen to become a formidable power in the face of Putin's aggression and desire to return Russia to it's former state. Today, Ukraine is holding out for freedom at enormous cost to it's people, land and resources. But it has Mars trine by sign the 1st House and furthermore Mars is co present with the Sun in the 9th House which also trines the Ascendant by sign. This is wonderfully providential for them and the world because if Putin succeeds in annexing Ukraine, Poland will be next.
Freedom is not just an abstract principle to them, it is part of their very soul to protect their identity and people after many years of being the middle ground for warring neigboring countries. This is exemplified by Uranus, Neptune and the North Node in the 1st House.
There is a timelessness where the past is calling and inspiring to defeat this threat to their existence as Putin has said they are not really a country but always a part of Russia which is blatanly false.
The stellium of Venus, Mercury and Jupiter in the 8th of death, public mortality and financial relations with other countries tells a great deal about the interdependency of Ukraine with Russia and other European countries with it's amazing agricultural bounty and mineral reserves such as titanium, graphite, lithium and uranium vital for high tech industries. The Moon in a tight opposition to this stellium from the 2nd and ruling the 7th indicates the enemies she faces as well as the corruption within.
Looking at this chart, the Moon is disposed by Saturn, the ruler of the Ascendant. Putin has gotten himself into a war that he may never be able to win. And that is good news for free people everywhere, especially in Ukraine. So Slava Ukraini! Heroiam Slava!
Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Heroes! Much like our own Revolutionary War, this war is a fight for freedom for our world and our future, our children and our children's children.
