A fun flashback to our beginning. A low res. small video that's a blast from the past. A Classic Curtis Hanvey product video that was mailed around the country in VHS format. This is our 1996 promo video for the LIPSystem. That was 21 years ago. You will see Curtis Hanvey doing stunts on the original Life Time Warranty SS LIPSystem. Curtis is our founder and the designer for the LIPSystem and all of its components. He made the first LIPSystem in 1990 for his mother's grooming shop. We still have a challenge out for the competition to do this on their support system.

Coty, the Cool Cocker, really was a cool dog and made a great model for the LIPSystem. He was so relaxed during shoots that he often fell asleep. We were lucky to find a picture taken after he had fallen asleep in the LIPS comfort Hammock. His perfect mix of natural hear length and his beautifully place color pattern. I was told his coat was described as a field coat. We miss Coty and have never found a model to match his talents since his retirement.

Hanvey Engineering is 23 yrs old this year. We are having fun looking back at some of our key web material from back in the beginning days. Some colors have changed and a few products added since these were used but the 2018 LIPSystem has all the benefits and more in a prettier package and thousands more users.

Lifetime Warranty for the stainless steel LIPSystem structure. It's easy to see why we have a lifetime repair and replace coverage on the unit itself considering it strength. And look at the system on our Hanvey Big Boy blue elevator table. BTW. That table goes another 10 inches higher than is shown in the picture with three hanvey staff on it and goes all the way down to below your calf for easy large dog walk-on.

Dog Grooming Problem - Dog wiggling all over the table slowing you down and causing hair cut "fails", sore muscles and stress for you and the dog.
Solution - Two point positioning that gives the dog a limited comfortable movement range that will not cause you problems.
What do you need to use? First take a #1 Quicklink(Q-link) and attach it to an eyebolt on the LIPSystem side post or to a link on a #7 that is connected between the two eyebolts on the side post. Connect the other end of the #1 Q-link to the neck ring on the dogs grooming lead (noose or loop). Lift the dog up off its feet if possible and "Reset" their position and footing where you want it while simultaneously Holding onto the tail with your available hand to keep the rear in your desired position. This neck ring hook-up allows the dogs head to be limited to a comfortable position close to the side post as if you have a person assisting by holding the dogs head in that location.
For the ultimate positioning to encourage the dogs to "Pose" like even this large, wiggly puppy did for us, use the same technique on the rear of the dogs except open the loop and place the loop around the dogs rear and pull loop between legs and shown ans position to the back side post as shown. Important! Never use any positioning device tight around the dog. Think positioning not restraint. Tight positioning makes the dogs move a lot due to discomfort. All LIPSytems supports are intended for positioning ONLY! Not Restraint.
