“What are your rates?”

I hear that question all the time.

And it is a fair question.
But usually it is not the first question a business owner should be asking.

The better question is: “Is my current payment setup actually helping or hurting my business?”

Because processing is not one size fits all.

One business may benefit from:
• Flat rate pricing
• Interchange plus
• Surcharging
• Cash discounting
• Dual pricing

Each model can work.

And each model can become expensive if it is set up incorrectly.
