In the 18 years the Grand View Winery has been producing wine, our wines have won regional, national and international awards. In addition to using fruits from our own orchards and groves, we support local Vermont farms and orchards by purchasing their fruits to create sweet, dry and semi-dry fruit wines. With remarkable "Grand Views", our winery is worth the short drive from Montpelier or Stowe.

The relaxed country appeal is perfect for packing a picnic lunch and enjoying a glass of wine, weather you are a local to Central Vermont or just up for the weekend to enjoy the sights. Staff suggestion: Pick up a bottle of MacJack Hard Cider on a hot summer evening or empress your date with a bottle of Cassis (Black Currant wine) or Pear Ice Wine for an after dinner treat!

Heads up. The Grand View Winery property in East Calais will be up for sale in June 2016. We have completely renovated the winery building into a 2-3 bedroom home on 15.5 acres with a spectacular view, barn and insulated shop/garage building with three phase power. Thank you to all our loyal former customers who have called and stopped by. After eighteen very successful years and numerous regional, national and international awards we have sold the business. It has been moved out of state with the plan to eventually take our fruit wines national. We miss you all and thank you for returning each time you visited Vermont.
