Seasoned firewood sales blew up two weeks ago and it's been steady since. We sold 50 cord in three days and the phone has been ringing non stop since.
At this point we are Sold Out of seasoned and green orders will be on hold until we can get through the slug of current orders.

Drought damaged hardwood salvage on some of our upland timber lands. Two drier than average summers in areas with ledge and gravel soils. Mostly firewood size beech, ash, rock maple and oak.
Few mat logs coming out as well.

This area was coated with an inch of ice during the 1998 Ice Storm. The hardwoods took it hard then with limbs ripped off many birches tipped out of the ground. On going forest management 🌲
