Rounding out this cohort’s CADE introductions is Calarie Idhe! Her last name, Idhe, means and is known as a roof or house shingle in Yoruba, a language from Nigeria. Calarie’s ancestors were known for cultivating protective, secure, and stable roofing. Like her ancestors, Calarie works hard, and is determined, resilient and passionate. After graduating high school, she continued her sociology associates degree at Lansing Community College, and two years ago switched programs to business. She is now finishing her Business Transfer Studies associate’s degree, as well as a Business Management and Administrative bachelor’s degree. Along with CADE, she attends school full time, and works for the Michigan Department of Treasury as a student assistant in revenue and tax services. We are glad to have you, Calarie!
