(979) 571-5743 The Maffei knife sharpening tradition in America spans 5 generations back to 1914 when my great grandfather immigrated to America from Pinzolo, Italy and made a living by pushing his knife cart through the streets of Boston. We've embraced technology and do it a little different nowadays but our instinctual passion for sharpening remains strong. For us there's nothing more satisfying than restoring a pristine edge to an old beat up knife.We're focused on providing quality knife sharpening to professional kitchens in Eastern Long Island. Call us for a quote and a free trial of our weekly knife rental service where you'll receive sharp knives delivered to your kitchen every week. Initial setup is free and there's no commitment or contracts. But we're confident that once you start working with regularly sharpened knives you'll be hooked.
