No one loves every task equally, and if there are things you find yourself avoiding because you just don’t like doing them, it could be something you could delegate it to someone who does. ⁣

73% of microblading and permanent makeup artists say business slows in the summer.

As soon as the weather became nice, inquiries and appointments dropped.

Below are 3 things you can do to make more money during this slow period:

1. Provide a time-sensitive promo.

Offer an exclusive promo ONLY DURING THE SLOW PERIOD. They can't book now for November. Against the policy.

Your offer should ONLY be given IF the client shows up during your slow period.

2. If you don't want to lower your prices, then give a gift instead. 42-53% of women said they are more likely to choose a beauty provider IF they get a free gift. (Women's Marketing Study, 2018)

The gift can be small. Again, only give the fit if the client completes the appointment DURING a slow summer month.

Customers who book for Fall or Winter don't need the gift. Clients tend to book for Fall, Winter, or Spring without extra incentive.

3. Provide add-on services FREE or a reduced price . If you have a smaller service, such as microneedling, offer the add-on service for FREE or at a reduced price IF the client completes a permanent makeup service during your slow month.

The advantage of giving away a small service, is you're not lowering prices for your bigger, more important services. Also, you don't have to shop for a gift to give away.
