In my experience, being clear about how you feel about something, particularly in a work situation, is hard. At first. But like anything, with practice, it gets easier. When presented with a problem, or a project, instead only doing what is asked, you do the task, but add some notes of your own. How you would do things differently. How you would approach the next steps. What you think the next steps should be.
START using the words I THINK, followed by your actual opinion on the matter.
And then learn to pause. Let the silence take hold and allow the idea to sink in. Fight the urge to fill the space with a statement that will make you sound unsure. Let it be known that you have your own ideas, opinions, and artistic points of view, and that you're not afraid to speak them out loud.
It is brave and important to share your point of view. Keep doing it.
