Earthworks Environmental, located in Eastlake, Ohio, is seeking a self-motivated general laborer. Earthworks Environmental is recognized as one of the leading companies in septic, sewer, concrete & waterproofing in the Cleveland area.

Responsibilities:
• Perform duties assigned to you in a safe manner in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies
• Unload materials and maintain material storage area
• Assist with demolitions and cleanup of demolished materials
• Take necessary steps to protect jobsite surroundings from damage while maintaining a clean and tidy working environment
• Assist with the use and care of all company equipment & materials
• Take appropriate steps to notify foreman or office staff of any damage or necessary maintenance

Qualifications:
• Ability to lift and carry 60lbs
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and measurements
• Capable of bending over, kneeling, or standing for extended periods
• Positive attitude and willingness to take direction and work with a team
• Must have a valid Ohio Driver's License & reliable transportation

• Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the company's operating safety policies and procedures
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers
• Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
• Collect and dispose of scrap, excess material, and refuse
• Observe distribution of paving material to adjust machine settings or material flow, and indicate low spots for workers to add material

REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have a valid driver's license
• High School diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
• Ability to operate heavy equipment
• Knowledge of light and heavy equipment operation and maintenance
