Pond repair in East Palestine, Ohio. Customer hired an excavation company to dig a pond. 5 years later the pond still wouldn’t fill up. We were called in to diagnose the issue. After talking with the customer, diagnosing the problem and digging multiple test holes in the dam we discovered that the pond was dug improperly. The topsoil was never stripped and multiple types of soils were mixed together to build the dam which caused multiple leaks. After figuring out the problem we excavated the weak parts of the dam and rebuilt with the right material and proper compaction. This pond will now hold water and be enjoyable for years to come.
A huge shout out to Danny and his crew for not only figuring out the problem but finding a way to fix it that was both efficient and affordable to our customer.
