This is a helmet made for one of our customers, who had the helmets art celebrate his 34 years working at NASA. He was the longest-serving Human Spaceflight Flight Director in history. He sat in the "center seat" of Mission Control for both the Shuttle and Space Station programs for almost twenty years, and was responsible for all real-time operations from launch until landing, as well as for planning, training for and executing missions.
